A true epitome of beauty and a harmonious blend of hard work, intelligence, reputable character, passion for service and compassion for the sick. Mrs. Mercy Ogugua Idahosa is a Delta born Nigerian, a Registered Nurse(RN), Registered Midwife(RM) and Registered Psychiatric Nurse(RPN) who was born into  the royal family of Obi John Nzekwu and Obi(Mrs) Magdalene Nzekwu from Ibusa in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Her  love for humanity and fervour to see the sick recover, influenced her choice to pursue a career in Nursing.  She obtained her certificate of Nursing from the School of Nursing, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital(ABUTH), Zaria in 1984.  Her distinguished clinical acumen, excellent teaching skills and outstanding academic performances through out her student years at ABUTH, Zaria informed her selection to teach Principles of General Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing subjects for six years at the School of Nursing, University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, Borno State from 1992 to 1997. She was a member of the pioneering Nursing team of the National Hospital, Abuja from 1999 before her voluntary resignation in 2004 to join her husband in the set up of DIFF Hospital, Abuja.
She also bagged an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration(ADPA) from the University of Maiduguri in 1996.

A calm, meticulous and intelligent woman, with an admirable compassion for children, Mrs. Mercy is a combo of dedication, consistency, and success. She is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology(ESHRE) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine(ASRM).

Mrs. Mercy is the Executive Director of Administration of DIFF Medical Centre, the Vice President of SALT Foundation and the Lead counsellor of DIFF Medical Centre’s IVF Team.  She is blessed with a set of triplet that was conceived through In-Vitro Fertilization(IVF-ET) after nine years of subfertility. She is happily married to Dr. John O. Idahosa and together they sail the DIFF ship.
