Meet Dr.  John  Onaiwu Idahosa, a God-sent angel that was born into the family of Joseph Ugbo and Mary Musili Idahosa of Ugha, Uhumwonde Local Government Area in Edo state Nigeria. He had his higher education at the Nigeria Premier University, the University of Ibadan, where he obtained his Bachelors’ Degrees in Medicine and Surgery in 1986. He proceeded to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for which after nine years of rigorous training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, he came out with the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). He had his first consultant position in 1997 at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital for which after two years he joined the National Hospital Abuja as part of the pioneering team. While at the National Hospital Abuja, John Idahosa set his interest in Reproductive Medicine and had quite some training and exposures in the United Kingdom. He was further trained at Lister Hospital London, and thereafter, he proceeded to Kings College Hospital also in London.

He has a Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Maiduguri in 1996. He is also a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons (FICS)

John Idahosa is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology and American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Having faced infertility challenges that confronted him and his wife for nine years before the birth of a set of triplets through Assisted Conception Technology (IVF-ET), John Idahosa has a sustained fervour to bring joy and plant smiles on the faces of couples who are in similar situation.

 A true veteran of the Faith whom many agreed is a distinguished family role model and a legacy for generations to come; John Idahosa never wavered but remained committed to his marriage vow inspite of the challenges infertility imposed on  him and his wife for almost a decade.

Dr. John Idahosa, a renowned expert in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, is the Chief Medical Director and founder of DIFF Medical Centre.
